Our Wildlife Response program is mostly funded through private donations. Please consider making an online donation today to support this critical program.

Wish List

A donation of any of the following items will help our Wildlife Response staff with the daily care of rehabilitation patients at any time of the year. Used items are graciously accepted - we only ask that they be clean, rust free and in good, usable condition.

  • Bath Towels (no holes or tears, please)
  • Hand Towels (no holes or tears, please)
  • Plastic Dog/Cat Kennels of all sizes
  • Large Fish Totes
  • Glass Pyrex measuring cups (2-4 cups)
  • Pill Cutters
  • Cut gloves by Kinco (all sizes)
  • Scrub brushes with handles
  • Unflavored Pedialyte
  • Shampoo, conditioner, body wash (any brand) 
  • Ziploc Bags (gallon size only)
  • Ziploc "Twist n Lock" (small or medium sizes)
  • Whiteboard Expo markers (any size/color)
  • Atlas vinyl non-insulated orange gloves (all sizes)               
  • Rubbermaid containers (heavy duty, microwave safe)
  • Cake pans (used to make ice molds for enrichment - any size and shape)

There are occasions when the Wildlife Response team has a need for different items. For health and safety reasons, any donated items that are meant to be consumed must be unopened. Please call ahead if you would like to donate any of the following items. We will be happy to let you know about our current needs.

  • Esbilac (Puppy milk replacement)
  • 4 oz & 8 oz Playtex drop-ins bottle liners
  • Playtex bottle nipples
  • Wet dog & cat food
  • Washing machine
  • Clothes Dryer

Volunteer

Volunteers are key to the success of our Wildlife Response team. The Alaska SeaLife Center has volunteer opportunities to fit a variety of schedules.
