Ann Riddle-Berntsen, B.S.
Ann received her B.S. from the University of Montana in wildlife biology in 2001 and since has been working in wildlife research laboratories gaining a wide range of laboratory skills. Ann joined ALSC in 2006 working as a technician and then lab manager for Dr. Hollmen. Her primary interests are genetics, toxicology, virology, and physiology. Recently, Ann has begun work to obtain her M.S. in marine biology from the University of Alaska Fairbanks under Dr. Hollmen. Her thesis work focuses on hydrocarbon (contaminants found in oil and gas) exposure and sensitivity in marine birds and waterfowl in the Arctic. Her expected graduation data is 2016.
