Trina Bailey

Vice President of Advancement

Trina Bailey serves as the Alaska SeaLife Center’s first Vice President of Advancement, leading fundraising, communications, strategic partnerships, and public affairs to support ASLC’s mission of promoting understanding and stewardship of Alaska’s marine ecosystems.

With more than a decade of experience in public service, fundraising, political strategy, and community engagement, Trina brings a strong track record of building relationships, driving results, and navigating complex systems. As Principal of Bailey Strategies, LLC, she led strategic campaigns, cultivated donor partnerships, and guided organizations through brand development and conflict resolution. She previously served as Special Assistant to U.S. Senator Lisa Murkowski, representing Alaska’s northern regions and advancing local policy and funding priorities in collaboration with tribal, federal, state, and local partners.

A values-driven leader with deep roots in Alaska, Trina is passionate about connecting people and resources to create meaningful impact. At ASLC, she leads a dynamic team to strengthen the Center’s visibility, expand philanthropic support, and advance long-term sustainability.
