Science Spotlight

What We Hope To Learn:

The two primary goals for this project are to 1) create baselines of current hydrocarbon exposure and 2) identify which species are more sensitive to hydrocarbon exposure. Baselines of exposure levels will provide valuable reference information for monitoring of population status and, if needed, restoration efforts. Identification of sensitive species will help planning, risk assessments of new development activities, and development of long term monitoring strategies.
